His screenplay, "What Goes Around", has been optioned for development by Trinity Pictures and he is also the author for the television pilot "Josh". Alex Wexler wrote book and lyrics for the musicals "The Devil and Dexter Webster" which was also a finalist in the 2005 Global Search for New Musicals, "Borrowing Time!" directed by Larry Fuller (Original Choreographer of "Evita", "Sweeney Todd" and "On the Twentieth Century") and collaborated with John Taylor, the award winning composer of the West End musical "Charlie Girl" with whom he co-wrote the book for "The Water Babies" and the musical revues "Have a Banahnah!" A native of Los Angeles, Alex Wexler performs as an actor in regional theater and Off-Broadway. He is currently working on several children's books and is a proud member of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and The Dramatist Guild of America, Inc. For the LA Previews and the NY International Fringe Festival performances, Alex stars as Malitoff Dyablik. | ||||||||

Bill Parsley graduated with a master's degree in music from Cal State Fullerton, earning his living as the house pianist for Milt Larson's Magic Castle as well as the Peninsula Hotel. Having written a total of six musicals, including "The Peanuts Gang," "Jimmy and Nicky" and "Hollywoodland," which was selected for Theatre Building Chicago's Stages Festival 2005, was a finalist in the 2006 Global Search for New Musicals in Cardiff Wales, a finalist for The Stanley Drama Award given by Wagner College and part of the York Theatre Company's Developmental Reading Series. Bill Parsley just completed his 7th musical "The Vanishing Hitchhiker" with book and lyrics by Tracey Quinn. Sadly, Bill Parsley passed away in June 2006. | ||||||||

| *Scott Bridges (Dexter Webster): Scott Bridges' credits include the Broadway and National tours of "Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan" as Slightly Soiled. He is also in the film version produced for A&E Television. He also co-starred with Carol Channing as Barnaby in the Broadway/National tour of "Hello Dolly!." In film, Scott can be seen as Samwise Gamgee the Hobbit in the film Date Movie starring Alyson Hanigan. He also starred as the lead role of Joey in the sitcom pilot "Mafiosa" for Comedy Central. Favorite regional credits include, Charlie Brown in "Your a Good Man Charlie Brown" at the Sacremento Music Circus, Eddie in "Over the Tavern" at the LaMirada Theatre, and as Cpl. Howard in "A Few Good Men" at The Wagon Wheel Theatre. | ||||||||
| Molly Alvarez (Daphne Marienkafer): A tap dancer since age 3, Molly has always had an attraction to stages, and feet. She grew up in Silicon Valley and gained experience in community theatre, until she earned her BA from UCR. Upon her move to Hollyweird (the other Silicon Valley), Molly quickly acquired a love for film. This year, she has starred as lead in two features, which will be showing at several festivals in the coming months. She has also appeared in several promising shorts, and will be filming, The PA, in August, opposite Jay Leno and other familiar faces. Some favorite roles: Janet, The Rocky Horror Show; Witch, Into the Woods; Claire, The Visit. Molly hopes to delve into many more arenas of "the Showbiznesses." | *Tamara Zook (Carlotta DeLongpre): This multi-award winning actress has worked on both Coasts in theatre, television and film. Her NYC and regional theatre credits include works of Brecht, Feydeau, Feiffer, Moliere and Tennessee Williams as well as many American and World theatrical premieres in Los Angeles and New York. Her television career includes over 150 commercials, as well as guest stars and regular roles in soap operas to sit-coms. Her film career includes award winning independent films screened at Slamdance, Sundance, Deauville, and Berlin as well as the studio features FATHER'S DAY and PAULIE. Most recently she died giving birth to live maggots in the horror film PORTAL. | Jesse Merlin (Edwin McManoff): Jesse Merlin has performed 33 leading operatic roles including Leporello, The Mikado, Don Pasquale, and Méphistophélès. In 2006, he created the starring role of The President of the USA in "The Beastly Bombing" at the Steve Allen Theater in Hollywood, which ran for a year and won Best Musical at the LA Weekly Theater awards. He performs the show in New York City for the NY Musical Theatre Festival in October 2007. Merlin made his international debut in Paris in 2005 with the world premiere of "Le Terrain Vague" at the Théâtre du Rond Point and Théâtre Lucernaire. Paul Ainsley (Malatoff Dyablik): Made his professional debut on Broadway as King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar a long, long time ago and has continued to make a living as a performer for all these many years. He bounces around in film and TV (that bartender on Three's Company) and mostly Musical theatre. He's on the board of the Actors Fund and Actors Equity. Mike Cline (Abra): Mike recently appeared in the World premiere of "Destiny's Calling" at the Stella Adler theatre and co-starred on the NBC soap "Passions". Mike's worked in Broadway, Film, TV and around the world with a lot of big names like Reese Whiterspoon, those "Sexy and the City" girls, Maestro Franco Zeferelli, Vanessa and Lynn Redgrave, Paul Giamani and Woody Allen. He also recently recorded with Grammy winning songwriter and poet, Rod Mc Kuen and will be coming out with a new CD later this winter. Joe Souza (Dexter Webster): Original cast member of the critically acclaimed musical Bark!; where he created the role of Charlie. He has been enjoying a year long run at the Coast Playhouse in West Hollywood. Joe played Didier in the award winning, world premiere of Sneaux at the Matrix Theatre. He was seen Off-Broadway in Gorgeous Mosaic and Nelson Jewell's Working Out with Leona. Other regional theatrical credits include Ramon in the Chicago premiere of Love! Valor! Compasion! Matt in The Fantasticks, Judas in Godspell, Kalman in the The Rothschilds and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Roy Leake Jr. (Edwin McManoff): Roy has played husbands, farmers, Dickensian pickpockets, bartenders, noblemen, ballet composers, Bard-spouting gangsters, disciples, Victorian women, carnival barkers, Pilgrim, Cookies, embittered puppeteers, Jewish dairymen, piano player, disembodied voices, cockneys, mad doctors, fast-talking salesmen, Russian impresarios, comic strip dog, hotel desk clerk, British and Japanese Lords, gay alcoholics and several exceedingly mediocre nightclub performers. Amy Rutberg (Daphne Marienkafer): Amy is thrilled to be part of this exciting new musical. New York credits include "The Civil War" (First national tour) "Bat Boy the Musical" and "Ostovsky" at Manhattan Theatre Club (Co-starring with Kevin Kline). Recent Los Angeles credits include "The Rocky Horror Show" at the Tiffany, "Grave White Way" at the Hudson, "Bye, Bye Birdie" just about everywhere and "Man of La Mancha" with Robert Goulet Tour #1343. Last season Amy could be seen on the WB's "Everwood" knocked up and making trouble. After "The Devil and Dexter Webster" Amy is going to NYC to do the workshop for "Legally Blonde The Musical". Amy is a recent graduate of UCLA. |

Andrew Ross Wynn (Kadabra): Hails from Washington DC where he performed extensively on DC stages including Arena Stage, the Kennedy Center and the Folger Shakespeare Library. In LA, he performed in the campy rock musical "Sneaux" as well as the Minnesota musical "Don't Hug Me" at the Whitefire Theatre. He has also written and performed at Improv Olympic West. Nicole Burleson (Daphne Marienkafer): Nicole is the lead singer in the band Scientific Lifestyle (scientificlifestyle.com and myspace.com/scili)and is a professional stilt walker performing with Girls On Stilts and 2nd Nature productions. A winner of the Ovation award for her role in "La Gioconda" many moons ago, Nicole is thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Alex and Bill and be part of the evolution of "Lost in Hollywoodland" into the marvelous and fabulously entertaining show that it has become. |
